Electronic mailing list subscribers are persons that get mass email messages, including weekly/monthly newsletters. Based on the software that is used to manage a certain mailing list, they may have signed up personally, giving their explicit permission to be included in the mailing list, or they may have been added manually. The latter means that they will pratictically receive unsolicited emails. Basically, members can be managed by the mailing list administrator who can include or remove them, or they can manually unsubscribe in case they do not wish to get emails from now on. All subscribers will invariably get the exact same content as long as they belong to one and the same mailing list, but a single member will never be able to see the other mailing list subscribers in the "To" field of the email.

It will allow you to see all your mailing list subscribers, to import new or to delete existing ones by sending a message to the mailing list’s administrator address, so you can administer everything without even needing to log in to your hosting Control Panel. New mailing list members will need to verify their subscription, so the messages that you send will be legitimate and you will not need to bother about emails being reported as spam.
